Hi! I am Elvira

I am a self-taught illustrator and storyteller driven by a lifelong passion for children’s literature, colors, and the magic of a good story.

My creative journey is shaped by two completely different, beautiful worlds. I was raised amidst the vibrant, sun-drenched atmosphere and tropical warmth of India, which planted a deep love for rich color in my heart. Today, I live in New England, where I have spent most of my years in the USA, falling completely in love with its crisp autumnal afternoons and quiet, snow-dusted winter landscapes.

My art is born purely from love and passion rather than formal training. Using traditional watercolors, gouache and colored pencils, my dream is to create a gentle sanctuary on paper. Through my illustrations—and hopefully my own written stories in the future—I want to deliver a message of warmth, deep friendship, community, and above all, kindness. I believe true friendship, love, kindness and innocent laughter brings true lasting magic in the world and I want to bring you all with me in my world of make believe where we can cherish this ever lasting magic and sparkles. 

When I am not painting woodland friends in Bramblewood, you can find me curled up with a beautiful picture book,  enjoying a hot cup of tea, talking a walk in the woods or cooking and baking!
